Well.....writing for a living is a real kick in the pants. Before finishing revisions I was feeling sorry for myself at how chained to the computer I was.

This week, having finished, I feel empty, melancholy, and remote. Tune in for next week. No telling what I'll feel. At least I've learned one thing in all these years.....not to take myself too seriously. Emptiness is just that. Nothing there. Leaving space for something new to grow.....

I hope "something new to grow" will be about Barbara in France

Will you do book tours when the new novel comes out? I live in Austin and would love to get the chance to meet you- love all 3 novels- they are at the top of my very long list of historical fiction favs!

    Dearest Karleen,
I have been entranced with your books as of late and would like to say how much I admire your writing and imagination. Although I love your books it seemed to cause me to procrastinate a little longer the normal, I am a collage student and can not seem to start working on homework until I absolutely have to, haha. Anyways, to get to why I am bothering you, I have finished two of the books and now on the third, feeling panic from not knowing if there might be more about young Alice, Richard, and possibly Roger, I thought I would come straight to the source. Could there possibly be a book about Alice and Richards rise to the top? Roger and Richards relationship or anything of the sort. My curiosity is killing me and I thought I should just ask :)

    Thank you for your time,

    Christin

If you'll go to the home page, there's a What's In My Blog section. The one titled "Psychic Order" talks about future books. And as a matter of fact, the book I'm beginning to play with is about Alice and Richard. Thank you for asking.
